Registration

You may register for Alumni Reunion Weekend by clicking on the Registration tab above.

It is recommended that you register online if you are purchasing theater tickets or going on the Chelsea Art Gallery Tour. Availability is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Confirmation

Upon receiving your registration materials, the Alumni Office will mail you a confirmation letter indicating the events you have selected. You should receive this within two weeks. For those registering after Monday, May 12, you confirmation materials will be available at the registration desk.

Cancellation

A full refund will be granted only if you cancel by Monday, May 12. Between May 13–27, a 50 percent refund will be granted. After May 27, no refund will be granted.

Lodging

Thank you for your interest in staying in Carman Hall during Alumni Reunion Weekend. Unfortunately, Carman Hall is full and we will not be able to accommodate any additional guests at this time.

Parking

Parking is available in two campus garages; parking passes will be mailed to all registrants with their confirmation letter. If you register after Monday, May 12, you may obtain a parking pass at the reunion registration desk in Alfred Lerner Hall.

Dodge Fitness Center

The Dodge Fitness Center will be open to alumni on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Access to the track, basketball and squash courts, weight rooms, exercise machines and pool will be granted with the ticket in your Alumni Reunion Weekend packet available at check-in at Alfred Lerner Hall throughout the weekend.

Venues/Locations

Locations are subject to change, so all participants are encouraged to make registration in Alfred Lerner Hall their first stop on campus for updated information.  

Class Photos

Photos will be taken during class dinners on Saturday, May 31. If you wish to appear in the photo, please arrive at 6:30 p.m. The photo for the Classes of 1943 and 1953 will be taken during lunch on Saturday.

 
Attire

Casual dress is suggested for daytime activities. Business attire is recommended for class dinners.

Tuxedo Rentals

A discount has been arranged with Baldwin Formals for members of the Class of 1958 who would like to rent a tuxedo for their Saturday night dinner. Baldwin Formals will deliver to your hotel and pick up after the event.

Changing Rooms

On-campus rooms will be available on Saturday, May 31, for participants. Please visit the registration desk in Alfred Lerner Hall for more information.

Dietary Restrictions

Vegetarian meals always are available and special arrangements are not necessary. Kosher and vegan meals cannot be guaranteed if arrangements are not made by Monday, May 12.

Should you require assistance during your campus visit, we will be pleased to help with accommodations. Families Welcome

A trip to New York or a visit to the campus can be an exciting experience for all family members. Look for the “child-friendly” symbol This is a child-friendly event. as you review the program of events for programming that is appropriate for children ages 3–12.

Camp Columbia for Kids

Camp Columbia provides a full day of children’s programming on Saturday, May 31 from 9:30 a.m.–10 p.m. Supervised activities and meals for children ages 3–12 will be provided.  Children must be toilet trained to participate. Childcare

If you would like more personal childcare or childcare during times not covered by “Camp Columbia,” our children’s program, arrangements may be made directly with Sittercity. Using the promo code COLUMBIA, parents will receive $10 off the registration fee to access more than 2,500 pre-screened sitters, including some from Columbia. A variety of Columbia College merchandise will be available for purchase at the registration area throughout the weekend.

A listing of local religious services will be available at registration.

There will be a message board at the registration area in Alfred Lerner Hall throughout the weekend. Guests are encouraged to leave messages. After-hour emergencies may be directed to the University’s Security Office: 212-854-2796.
